moreover, it at least makes it less likely that Clemson can win 5 titles in 9 years. That's the dynasty. They can still do that, but it's less likely than it was yesterday.

actually, back to back is a pretty big thing, as it would be to any fan. The bigger thing, though, is 5 of 9. There have been back to back titles, but at least not since the Ivy League was ruling rugby type football in the 1800s has there been 5 of 9 champions, so that there is a bona fide dynasty.

I agree that back to back is fantastic - a truly great thing. And I compliment Bama on their dominance beginning in 2009. Probably the greatest run in college football history.
My point was that if you are going to compliment a team for something, then compliment them. Don't bring up your own great stuff in that thread.
