He said he was thanking you, not complimenting you. When you thank someone that is usually for something you get out of it. There are plenty of compliment threads you can go to if this thread is bothering you.

I actually kind of agree with you. Stop Robot, unlike some half assed fans, is a good and devoted Bammer, but maybe, just maybe it was a little dig. If I congratulate LSU, I won't remind you guys of Alabama's accomplishments. I would not, though, advise LSU fans to hold their breath till I congratulate them.

But it wasnt a dig. It was my own selfish reason, along with the others, that I wanted LSU to win last night

and I can absolutely relate to that. It was kind of a strange place to be. I'm not totally wild about LSU but Clemson's chase of Alabama's dynasty was disconcerting. That's at least temporarily over.
