Did Fry change his name? Clever move

Our “insiders” delivering as usual.

Bicknell signed 6 high school OTs in 2019 at Ole Miss. I bet that gave Gus a chub

You know, it’s really too bad no one outside of the Malzahn coaching tree or former players will work for Gus. It’s a shame we can’t get an NFL-caliber OL coach.

Looks like he has a decent NFL pedigree and experience in the SEC. I like the hire better than Fry

I'm neither overwhelmed nor underwhelmed by this.. Honestly don't know much about this guy at all and it seems like his name came out of no where. Hope he's ready to recruit Broderick Jones though.

It's about what I expected. Gus really hasn't made a splash hire except for Champ and most believe JJ made that happen.

It would’ve been dumb for Pugh to take the move since he’s already an OC, Cant believe 24 thinks he would be a bad hire.
But Jack’s career doesn’t seem all that impressive. I take solace in the fact Boston College usually has a pretty good OL and he learned there.

We went from wanting any other OL coach aside from maybe Herb Hand to being really picky as soon as names were leaked
I can’t think of hardly any OL coaches (names) at any level of football except Pittman and the long list of Auburn guys. I’m willing to see this one out. Seems like a solid, if not unspectacular, hire to me

Only legit insider we have is Keef Kneebur. If it doesn't come from him, then it isn't news.

Not aimed at Jang, but we seem to have a lot of OL Coach expertise and preferences on this board. If you’d have told anyone that we were going to replace Grimes with a guy that coached OL with the Giants, Chiefs, Steelers, Dolphins, and has SEC west experience, they’d be chomping at the bit.

Waiting for autigr to give us his expert thoughts

Can’t be worse than PawPaw Grimes. Let’s see what he can do in Jones’ recruitment.
