What, around 120 teams would lose a game with this approach?

Yeah
I'll pass

An expanded playoff will only be useful 1 out of every like 10 years where there are more then 4 playoff caliber teams.

Expanding the playoff is worth giving up a garbage game against FCS directional state.

How could anyone watch the Peach bowl and think the playoffs need expanding? Most of the semifinal games have been real snoozers.

If it means fewer games against cupcakes, I'm all for it.

Really Kirk?

You can name 8 teams worthy of a playoff every year?

You can name 8 teams worthy of the playoff in just a majority of years?

Because personally, I can't. We have a hard time finding **4** teams.

Now, this year, I will say I can think of a couple of teams that would have put up more fight than Oklahoma, but those teams probably should have been there IN PLACE of Oklahoma, not AS WELL as Oklahoma.

We've only had one playoff year where the majority of games were competitive (2017). Every other year, you have two games (sometimes all three) where the margin of victory is double digits.

Expanded playoffs are not needed. System is working just fine. That would guarantee a weak arse, unworthy Texas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma every year.

Why expand when we can't find 4 deserving teams now?

Could be good for Arkansas fans to be able to focus on basketball and baseball sooner

This year is the best argument against expanded playoffs.

Did we really need to see LSU beat Baylor by 60? Cuz that would’ve been a hypothetical quarterfinal game
