You are DELUSIONAL if you think leach’s passing scheme won’t work in sec

It has worked everywhere, and it isn’t exactly rare to see sec teams get torched in the air against capable offenses

Saban can’t defend good passing schemes.

Leach will have access to defensive recruits he couldn’t get at WSU

Watch out

They're going to put up points but will they be able to stop anybody?

I mean Mississippi St will likely stay in its lane. Do you anticipate them winning the west anytime soon?

I don't see how it's much different than what LSU is running right now.

Is .500 in the Pac 12 really "working"?

The problem is his defenses are trash, and he won't get the talent he needs to be competitive in the toughest defensive conference in the country. The SEC is not the PAC-12 or the Big-10. Excuse me, the Big-12.

Well we have all wanted to find out. It may initially work but the thing is defenses will adjust to it but that's true of any passing scheme. Ultimately, any scheme comes down to execution.

Mike Leach went to a cloud of dust school, OU, then TTU and changed an entire conference!

He will have about the same success as he had at Washington st

Them and miss state are both in similar positions:

Hard to recruit and bottom of the conference

Leach was 55-47 (36-36) at Wazzu. State should also be happy with that. Consistently averaging 7-8 wins with an occasional 9 or 10 win season

It is not his passing scheme that is the problem, it is his lack of consideration for his defenses.

I couldn't be happier for entertainment purposes, tbh. He's as fun as it gets. However the numbers show he's around .300 against top 50 defenses for his career and he'll have to play an average of 7-8 top 50 in the SEC typically. It'll be interesting to watch to see how it goes. Could be bumpy till he gets his actual players for his system.

Either way, this will be a fun time in the state of Mississippi
