Following Tuesday's slate of games:

#6 Auburn
#21 Arkansas (up 3)
#27 Kentucky (up 10)
#28 LSU (up 3)
#42 Florida (up 10)
#55 Georgia (down 19)
#60 Alabama (up 4)
#70 Tennessee (up 10)
#73 Miss. St. (up 3)
#75 Missouri (down 18)
#89 Ole Miss (down 21)
#127 Vanderbilt (down 4)
#136 S. Carolina (down 17)
#147 Texas A&M (up 38!)

Average ranking improved by 3.14 spots per team.

Tonight's biggest game is obviously Arkansas at LSU, but I'm also equally intrigued with Miss St. @ Alabama.... I think the winner of that game really improves their position for Post Season play, while the loser is going to create a very difficult road if they want to make the Big Dance.

I wish Georgia fans would make up their mind. When you guys are winning you are all about basketball and as soon as you lose you don't care.

If we are talking about fan bases as a whole, this applies to most of the schools.

Eh, not really. Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Bama and South Carolina fans are pretty supportive win or lose. But Georgia fans pull this crap every year.

Well you only named 8 at of 14 which is barely over half but I disagree with some on the back end of that list. We will see what the fan turn out looks like with South Carolina, Ole Miss and Mississippi state if they are struggling in the 2nd half of conference play.

Well, you did say most. Besides, you don't see those fanbases jumping in basketball threads to let people know they don't care about basketball like you do Georgia fans.

Funny, when has Georgia ever won at basketball??? The last (and only) time we "won" at basketball was 1983, the only time UGA's ever made it to the Final Four.

LMAO the first 4 maybe. Even Tennessee and Arky dont show up when they suck though. Florida and Kentucky are the only two that really sell out I feel even when they dont have a great team. Which isnt much for either program the last 10-15 years.

Let take a moment and relish the amazing job Bruce Pearl has done with the Auburn basketball program

Yeah but that was kind of my point. I disagree with all those 8 but its hard to even make an argument past 8 if you are on the opposite side of the thought process imo.

If there are any fanbases that show up when they suck it is Tennessee and Arkansas. Besides, you are all missing my point. The only school that reminds everybody they don't care about basketball is Georgia but when they are decent they are all over the place.

Your "basketball fans" were everywhere just a few days ago. Now that you lost to Kentucky Georgia fans all of a sudden do not care about basketball anymore.

We have a portion of our fanbase dedicated to doing that as well. However, we also have a pretty large portion that are very big basketball supporters and always have been.

Generally that falls along alum/sidewalk lines, but not always.

Do any of those other schools jump into threads to let you know they don't care about basketball?

I guess it just depends on what you are using for the metric of great. Arkansas just sold out on Saturday and our team isn't great.

You also have to keep in mind that how big the home arenas are for some schools

Tennessee, Arkansas and Kentucky can all go over 20k or very close on a sell out compared to some other arenas. USCe is fairly close as well.

I agree. If any other fanbase does that it is Alabama but nowhere near the scale that Georgia fans do it.

Do you honestly believe that all of Georgia's basketball fans even visit this site, much less have even heard of it????!!!

How myopic can you get!

Yall arent bad this year by a longshot. But yes, arky usually has good attendance numbers because they can hold 20K. even half full is more than a sell out at Auburn.
