Was just waiting to see if someone here on this board had even a clue as to why it would be okay.
What makes the gifts legal per NCAA 16.02.01, gifts were given to LSU, and not to the players. LSU (the school) then may distribute the gifts individually to the players as part of their gift package for the upcoming game. This is permissible under NCAA rules.
No one here could explain it, but tenacious came the closest. Yes, tenacious, I am a blast at parties!
