According to Rusty he thinks Fromm is leaning towards going pro?
Update: Fromm met with Smart today and has postponed his decision announcement.

I highly doubt it. Was this on the radio? Nothing on twitter

Oh well. good luck to Fromm if he does leave. Guy was a DGD and got us as close to a Championship as any QB since 1980.
I wish he'd stay as he also is a man of great character.

Rusty says that's his gut feeling. No concrete info either way.
If he leaves, go heavy after a grad transfer. There isn't a more appealing situation out there for one.
In order of preference:
King
Newman
Costello
Brice

Here’s a quick read at the current moving pieces of the decision:
o DawgNation has learned Fromm is expected to meet with Georgia coach Kirby Smart today to discuss returning to the team in 2020.
o Contrary to what most might think, there was very little, if any, discussion on the NFL decision involving Fromm until after the Sugar Bowl.
o That should come as no surprise to those who know Fromm, what he stands for and what the 2019 season meant to him in Athens.
o The decision should come shortly after the meeting with Smart on Monday.
o Expect Fromm to take the same analysis to the decision as he does his job in the pocket. 1) Get a pre-snap read; 2) Find the right call; 3) Go through his progressions; 4) Execute it and not look back.
o The thought of Georgia opening up things more offensively will be discussed. That’s something that Fromm would very likely want to see.
o It might get lost for analysts and fans, but the pro-style attack was not what Fromm was best at coming out of high school. He threw for more than 12,000 yards in one of the toughest regions of Georgia high school football leading an offense that certainly will resemble the way he has successfully led Georgia’s two-minute and tempo drives during his time at UGA.
o Georgia has certainly brought in the pieces on offense with its 2020 recruiting class to do just that. Expect at least two, if three or more, of the new 2020 signees to make a similar splash in the wide receiver room as Dominick Blaylock and George Pickens did for the 2019 team.

Please don’t post gut feelings like they are inside information.

Well the only thing I’ve seen listed by anything other than message boards is KJ Costello and Americus said I was super smart so that’s what I’m going with unless things have changed and I’m no longer the transfer QB guy.
Everyone dotes on the Wake kid though

You don't think Rusty has inside connections to make him feel that way? Might not be what you want to read, but it's more than just a guess. Also I put a question mark to indicate it wasn't fact.

Has Matt Corral entered the portal yet? He could always appeal for immediate eligibility since his head coach was fired.

Either way - transitioning from Fromm / grad transfer to Vandagriff / Williams would be most ideal.

Just guessing...I think this is what he was objecting to:
According to Rusty we are about to be looking for a grad transfer QB.
That sounds as if Rusty has said we are going to be looking for a GT. Quotes from the article seem to indicate that he doesn't know and is making a guess.

Jeff Sentell reported that Fromm was scheduled to meet with Kirby Smart and was going to make announcement shortly thereafter.
The announcement has supposedly been delayed...maybe Smart is trying to sell him on offensive coaching changes that are coming?

I hope so. I think we need some changes. I'm not quite like most on here in that I don't necessarily want something drastic, but more innovative plays with more passing would help.
I actually liked what we did in the bowl game. I think we could kick it up a little bit more, but I saw some different thought processes in the play calling. Or, maybe it just looked better because the plays worked?

Tua’s decision influences Fromm’s.
