At this point it would be funny if the Aggies get him.
This board will be comic heaven for years to come.

Why would that be funny? We’ve recruited him hard this whole time. He just finished his OV this morning. All signs to it going great.

I meant Evans. I’m at the hospital with my dad and I get confused easily with all the excitement going on in here.
Jackson seems like good people

Have followed recruiting since I was young and his has been one of , if not the weirdest , I have seen. Could be a home run ..... could crash and burn quickly

Report on Jackson's visit just went up on TexAgs, and they sound pretty confident. There are all the hedges, of course, but there is more confidence from A&M's side than you might expect given the confidence from Bama's side. We'll see in about 36 hours.

Also, for what it's worth, even Penn State sites are reporting that Robinson turned down PSU and will remain at A&M.

A&M rivals site saying they’ve heard that Jackson has informed both sides who he’s signing with...

If that is true, it's good for A&M. A&M insiders were saying, "When he left A&M, his intent was to sign with A&M, but he still has two days until signing day..." So if he "informed both sides" immediately after the A&M visit, then it's probably A&M.

"I have just taken the visits and kept an open mind with every school, but I my mind has been made up," said Jackson. "I've known where I was going for a year. I have known the school for over a year.

"I told the school I am signing with Wednesday a couple months ago. They have known for a little too."

"It was really pretty easy. It wasn't really that hard. I was not hard on myself. I couldn't worry about hurting anyone's feelings and make this decision as a business decision.

"I knew what I wanted, I found that school and yes, there was some stress in recruiting, but I enjoyed it and had fun with it.

"The school I am signing with has been on my mind for a long time. I know it is right for me."

"I have just been honest with myself and I like all the schools, but I feel good and ready to sign," said Jackson. "All the schools on my list can help me develop and help me on and off the field.

"I like them all, but I have known for a long while the school I a signing with."

“It’s a business decision”. How many times have Saban recruits used that phrase. That wasn’t an accident. Either Saban told him to say those words or Coach O did to rub it in. IMO, Coach O has been playing both of them. No inside info, just optimism.

A&M board seems very certain they’re getting Jackson. So does Bama board. If he has known for over a year where he’s going, why lead on A&M but not LSU and sign with Bama? Or lead in Bama but not LSU and sign with A&M? The only rational explanation is we did the Arik Gilbert thing where we have him lead people on for a few months and then sign with us seemingly out of nowhere. I realize I’m one of the only people who thinks LSU leads but I’m calling a smoke screen. It’s a business decision, right Nick?
