Did Ole Miss cockblock State or what?

I mean... State clearly wanted to fire Slo Mo Jo. Even if he won the Egg Bowl he was gone. They knew he was not the right fit.
The Egg Bowl made their choice more difficult. For one Ole Miss literally pissed away the game. Matt Luke looked like a buffoon. But everyone thought Luke was safe one more year. State knew if they fired The Yankee, it would take all the heat away from and bad press off Ole Miss.
Hell, the dude had beaten Ole Miss and got them bowl eligible 2 years straight. He had the second highest winning percentage next to Mullen. They decided to wait. Then presto, Ole Miss fires Luke, hires Kiffin right out from under Upig. Then the Lane train starts rolling. It picks up steam. The fear grew in muttville.
Then they had a RB break the QB’s face. The scene was set to fire him after all. But what a poor way to do it. You wait til after early signing period. In essence screwing over all those kids who thought they had a coach. You wait longer in the process to start a search. Hoping against hope to find your man.
Yep that little pissing on the pole is the gift that keeps on giving. It looks like State fired their 2nd winningest coach without having a sure thing. This is glorious.

You both are crap and both gonna lose so I really don't see what you are even worried about all this for. At least MSU doesn't cheat like you guys do.

It is still going to be Napier.
Any player signed early will most likely be given their release if they want one and most places still have room to sign players in FEB. Most if not all will stay committed to MSU.

Nobody is reading a fricking wall of text just so you can prove how obsessed you are with Mississippi State.

Considering State's recruiting class is not going to be impacted at all by the coaching change, and now we don't have a lame duck coach next year, and you guys are hiring guys like DJ Durkin to your staff, I'd say Ole Miss is still squarely in the rear view mirror.
Good luck with Kiffin. This should end well.

So we won the egg and still get to fire the coach? Sounds like a win

It wasn't a cockblock. It was something else but you don't need to know what. Now, shut up and go away.
