No one but the barn is helped by the “iron bowl”. Seriously. Can anyone honestly say that most people would even know where auburn is without ‘Bama? Play ‘em. But give them no more importance than anyone else.

And....no one has a solid retort. Just the typical juvenile, snarky response. Alabama gains very little, next to nothing from the iron bowl. The barn, on the other hand, gets national exposure. It’s fools gold for Alabama. Keep your sentiments. Show the gain for Alabama.

I don’t wish the barn total decimation. But....as a matter of fact, no one outside the state lines, with a few exceptions would even know the geographic location within 1000 miles without the supposed great “ iron bowl”. I submit that Alabama and even other SEC teams would benefit by putting the barn outside of the artificial importance they have from the “iron bowl”.
