Gotta love it when a coach interjects his religion after a game...

Swinney say:

"...the favor of God was with us tonight."

He must have repeated it 3 more times during last night's interview. I'm assuming if he'd lost the game he would have said, "god f-d us in the A tonight."

He’s one of those guys that hides behind his religion as a “pass” for anything. Makes me hate his loud arse mouth even more.

Dabo won't leave Clemson for Bama, it will be TBN that plucks him.

I am reminded of a line from the classic (not the shitty remake) movie "The Longest Yard".

"All I wanted was to win this game Lord. You ain't gonna let me have it are you? I'm a sinner and you're gonna frick me."

Dabo is thankful that God made the Ohio State player try to kill his quarterback.

I heard that as well, and I don’t take issue with anyone interjecting their faith, but I do take issue with the concept of God showing favor in a football game like it’s life and death decisions taking place here in war. It’s a game, and to put something like that in the context of God’s favor is IMO trivializing God’s pretense in the lives of people, as if when you lose, it had nothing to do with your program or play, but because God doesn’t love or favor you as much as He does someone else. This is a very dangerous mindset that can go in many different directions.

And then he interjected things into hookers (allegedly).

much like Freeze, he never gives the glory to God in a loss. I would think God has lessons to teach in both wins and losses. They only give the glory to God in victory. Freeze was usually trying to fistfight folks in the stands after a loss. Not very Christian-like.

I started laughing when he said that. Yeah Dabo, with all the shite going on in the world, God is very concerned with the outcome of a football game

A quarterback needs to speak out after a game, "All the interceptions I threw... Nothing I could do about it. God was in control".

It doesn't bother me. Turn the sound off if it bothers you that much.

It was clear that Justin Fields lost favor with God.
