Something drastic would have to happen. Ohio St should have won that game but the drops in the endzone etc...

LSU doesn't do that.

Ohio St had a pretty good plan on getting to the QB and the difference here is LSU has a better group of DBs and that means the the front will have that extra .5 to 1 sec extra to get to him.

This will not be a close game.

I hope it is, because I like hard fought games. Last night was great entertainment. But Clemson just don't have it.

They can’t just rush three against burrow but you think they have to get pressure or burrow will expose their secondary.

Clemson has been granted "don't bet against them" status.

LSU has a great football team this season, and they may very well win the big one, but if I had to wager on it I would take Clemson.

It's don't matter. Clemson just does not have all the tools they need.

Those LBs are not going to match the receivers LSU will put on the field

It won't matter, the match ups on the LBs will kill Clemson.

I remember seeing a lot of threads like this last year before the championship game...

Difficult game to bet but I will take Clemson at 7. I'm sure Vegas is very aware of the amount of money that will be bet on LSU.

I think LSU wins, but don't confuse Clemson with Ohio State. Clemson has been here and they are going to fight you.

I don't remember the last time I saw a game of this magnitude shoot from -3 to -7 like that, so yeah books will definitely be Clemson fans.

No matter what you think of Dabo, he's a master motivator and he'll continue to use stuff like this to tell his team they are disrespected.

The most important aspect of that game was the fact that Clemson took Young out of the game. I'd never saw that coming.

I actually feel that Ohio State would have been more competitive than Clemson.

They will get pressure, don't worry, Venables is not an Aranda. This dude will send the blitz in all day if he has to do, he's that kinda guy, he'll blitz from both the LB'ers and secondary areas. Joe will just have to be ready for it and burn them when he blitz's, and I think he'll do just that. But hopefully the OLine continues to really perform well like they have all season in giving Burrow the time he needs to find receivers.

Actually Young got constant pressure all nite on Lawrence, but just couldn't get a sack, sometimes he was a step late in sharing a sack with a teammate.

You mean like Michigan and Wisconsin just did as well, not even allowing him to record a stat?

Ohio State had the athletes to play with LSU defensively. Clemsons defense is well coached but they lack the athletes this season to play with what LSU will throw at them.

LSU is by far the favorite and I think they win, but anybody just discounting Clemson and acting like this is going to be a stroll in the park for LSU that's never close is just a fool

Burrow's ability to slide in the pocket and see the field negates most heavy blitz teams. The biggest issue for LSU is when you can bring pressure with just your front 4 like Auburn.

Clemson can't do that and Burrow will make them pay. Also, Clyde will be 100% and he is a blitz killer when he slips out of the backfield.

I'm just saying what I saw that's open to LSU based on their LBs as a unit and a CB.
