Hey OSU, how bout those SEC refs?

That is possibly one of the worst games I have seen called. Clemson won that game simply due to blown calls in all aspects of the game. Swinney Todd and his band of SC thugs won the game but they are about to run into a determined team led by a generational talent.

This is about as empty as I have felt since 2005 Texas. OSU should have win by 20. Tons of missed opportunities and questionable officiating calls cost the game

I thought the game was officiated just fine. The Dobbins TD was the correct call. I was only half paying attention to the game but when I saw the play with out seeing it live my first inclination was that he didn’t have possession going across the goal line and then the ball Came loose definitely making it not a catch.
On the fumble recovery for a TD, the receiver as in Dobbins case never had possessed the ball and made a football move. I saw that play live and to me that was an incomplete pass. The refs totally did the right thing in letting the play finish and leaving it up to booth review to determine the call.
The targeting call was absolutely correct and I don’t know why OSU fans even have issue with it. The defender came in leading with his helmet and he put the crown of the helmet right in the ear hole Lawrence’s helmet. It took the refs 2 seconds to make the call on replay. I’ve seen those calls for far less over the years.

The PI's were good calls. OSU DB's were grabbing like mad. But the overturned fumble was terrible.
I think the injury to the OSU RB hurt them quite a bit, he wasn't quite the same after. But the big loser was Fox Sports...this OSU player and that one all year was the best in college football. The QB was good but he wasn't good enough. That pass rusher damn sure wasn't Heisman worthy.

Oh, so NOW a Bama fan is complaining about the refs. Figures.

Forget the calls, if Dobbins catches that screen pass (where he clearly looked up field before he tries to secure it) he walks into the end zone and it's 20 - 0.

tOSU lost that game because the had 4 red zone opportunities and couldn't put it it...also, what about the roughing the punter? Stupid...No reason..
That game should have been put away before the targeting or the PI call ever meant anything

You obviously didn’t watch the other game yesterday.

The only issue I had was the targeting call. I wish they would be more lenient in the big games. Something like that shouldn’t be an ejection in a playoff game. The OU targeting on Clyde should be what the threshold is where it’s obviously dirty and unnecessary.
But OSU can’t come up with 9 points in 4 RZ trips and bitch about refs. I’m sorry.

If the defender had kept his head up, you are right, but he clearly dropped his head and hit with the crown of the helmet.

never miss a chance to take a pot shot at the SEC, losers complain about the ref, have a little class. I saw one bad call the fumble for a touchdown

You're right, but it won't matter. Clemson is about to get stomped.

We have the dumbest refs, hands down.

Was close, but I think they got it right. The game was actually well officiated. There were some tough plays that went to replay, but I think they got them right.
If I were an OSU fan, I would likely be cussing the refs, but not having a dog in the fight gives a more objective view.
The officiating was at least close enough that it can’t be blamed for the loss. OSU just did not perform well enough in the red zone. Clemson played decent red zone defense, but OSU shot themselves in the foot a couple of times when they could have iced the game.

...and Clemson DBs dropped at least three interceptions including a sure pick six that would have made it 7-3 Clemson early in the game. Bottom line: Clemson played like shite and still found a way to win. That’s what champions do...

Bottom line: Clemson is lucky as frick Ohio State didn't boatrace you with it's early opportunities.

Ohio State lost that game in the first half by having to kick field goals instead of putting it in the endzone.
