What I'm arguing here is for TEMPORARY membership. Hear me out.

Sure, we don't have the St Louis and Kansas City TV markets, but I don't think Mizzou really has the KC or StL markets either. KC market is pro sports and Kansas basketball. That's it. StL market is baseball and hockey I guess.

We've got the Shreveport and Monroe markets. Lucrative! Diamonds in the rough. Some of America's best kept secrets.

Bowl win over former dynasty member Miami Hurricanes folks.

Ruston has real soul food restaurants.

Other things on the southern checklist:

- Duck Dynasty - check
- Terry Bradshaw - check
- old time religion - check
- we are not Yankees - check
- we are not known for meth - check
- backyard crawfish boils - check
- we are not sort of like Aggies - check

Again, I know this will not get us in permanently. I'm not asking for that. I'm asking for a temporary membership. We deserve to be future former members, joining the Tulane, Sewanee and Georgia Tech (national championship 1990) club.

This fact right here should get us a three year probationary membership. Our coach is not this guy:

Three years. Mizzou is gone. Louisiana Tech plays hard and makes it respectable. Mascot is a Bulldog.

Tech would be a better fit. They’d probably contribute more athletically.

Everyone in Ruston already watches all of the LSU games anyways. Would do nothing for the league.

So lemme get this right.

You're comparing Mizzou claiming the St Louis and KC markets for Mizzou to ..... well, it's sorta like CNN claiming people are actually watching them because they pay the airports to tune their TVs to CNN 24/7/365.

Does that analogy work?

Yeah, I think your premise is allowable if so, if that's what you're trying to convey in terms of TV markets.

ETA: The negatives of being La Tech

1 - Have Skip Holtz as a head coach.
2 - Largest fundraising year in history raised by Tech supporters was last year at only $1.6 million.

Now, the big pro of being La Tech to be filed under, no kidding, I did not know that! They are fixin' to be big in the Space Force national security game for this country. God Bless'em.

Louisiana Tech conducts research with ongoing projects funded by agencies such as National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Department of Defense (DoD), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Louisiana Tech is one of fewer than 50 comprehensive research universities in the nation and the only university in Louisiana to be designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education and Research and a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education and Research by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Also, the FAA named Louisiana Tech to the National Center of Excellence for Unmanned Aircraft Systems. The university is known for its engineering and science programs.

Rooster, you are correct sir. Also Bleed Garnet is already on our side, so I'm counting South Carolina in on this. I know SCLibertarian will support us on it.

Again on the bowl win last night over a former dynasty member, this is an example of how God brings earthly dynasties to their knees. Real life. And there's some real life bringing down of dynasties coming in the SEC to a stadium near you. We can all feel it.

We need a replacement for Vandy too.
Enough with the private school snobs thinking they are better and smarter than us.
Also I wouldn't doubt majority of the student body are Yankees.

academics come 3rd or 4th at SEC schools.
not First.
