It's a shame,but with the playoff system all other games are irrelevant.

If a two loss regular season is total failure,then Saban is doing too good of a job.

Agreed. People sitting out. Injuries. No one really gives a frick.

The only thing it matters about at all is the final rankings.

What makes the bowl games even more irrelevant is having four "commode" bowl games after the granddaddy bowls on Jan. 1. Nothing but the natty game should be played after Jan. 1 if some semblance of notoriety is to be maintained.

I don't understand why the bowls are more irrelevant in the current 4-team playoff than they were in the previous 2-team system.

I'll never understand this argument. When we had the BCS only one bowl determined the NC. Now that we have two games, why are all the other bowls irrelevant?
