You said they've "always been shite."

Neither, but one more Natty would give LSU a decent argument. Two more would seal the deal.

They haven't always been shite, obviously, but they do have the benefit of 15 extra seasons than LSU (106 wins in those years). If blue blood simply means who was playing intramural and HS teams back in the 1800s, then again, LSU is screwed.

I mean LSU is obviously ahead. They have 4 National Titles which puts them in a pretty elite club.

To be fair, I'd rather be new money than a washed up has-been blue blood.

That whole blue blood talk is complete crap! We have played in 3 NCGs since 2000 and more than likely about to play in another. So what exactly makes a blue blood?
They have so called "blue blood" programs that haven't even sniffed the NCG in 20 years!
Blue blood is about the schools/teams who built the sport. Doesn't have shite to do with how many national championships they've won, although many of the fan bases were built on such success.
Not sure why people want to think you need a certain % of national championships to be one.
Also not sure why LSU fans are acting like LSU doesn't get the respect it should. Same for UGA, both get plenty of respect in the media and polls.

It's not really a tough one.

Blue bloods don’t win their first national championship after playing the game for 60 years then wait 45 years til the next one. LSU is new money and they act like it.

LSU - it’s hard to be considered a blue blood when 1980
Georgia isn’t even a blue blood
Georgia isn’t even a blue blood

Neither is a blue blood. LSU is ahead of Georgia though. 3 BCS/CFP titles trumps having 1 more SEC title.

We didn't wait 60 years. You just clearly don't know what the frick you're talking about.

Agreed. You are correct. With this national title that vaults LSU ahead of UGA

Seems like a lot of “titles” back from before 1950whogivesashit. Not impressed with teams from back then and this doesn’t just mean only Michigan. I’m not impressed with any teams “titles” from back then. Half assed “athletes” playing half assed “football”.

Actually it was longer. Played your first game in 1893 and your first claimed NC is 1958. That’s 65 years.

1958 was 3 years before 1961.

bullshite. No one ever claims Yale, Harvard, or Princeton as "blue bloods".

Bama had four before 1958 (I’m not even claiming 1941).
