Keith Carter's true test will be how he handles Bianco.

Ole Miss fans, what do you want to see from KC regarding Bianco? Are y'all ready to move on, or willing to give him a year or two more since he's been tearing it up on the recruiting trail? Personally, I think y'all can do better.

Why would they fire BIanco?

Cause they can do better than 1 CWS appearance in his tenure. He's done nothing with the talent he's recruited.

He's in a very similar position as RC @ A&M. Very good. Not Great. Stuck the top 10-20 but not really competing for titles.

I think so many Ole Miss fans are young and don't remember what our baseball was like before Bianco. Unless we can get Dan McDonnell to return to Oxford, we need to keep Bianco.

We were one game short of reaching the CWS last year. He brought in another top recruiting class. And keep in mind, MS doesn't have advantages that schools in other states have with scholarships (not even talking about Vandy).

This thinking reminds me so much of MSU football . I just think y'all should hold him to hire expectations, especially seeing how turnover at State hasn't really hindered our seasons. Y'all have tradition and that can be enough to avoid any kind of major collapse. I'd be wanting to take a chance if I was a Rebel. Go all in on a big name guy. Dan or Schloss.

If we can get McDonnell, then I'd be fully behind that.

I think y'all should go after Cliff Godwin. He would kill it in Oxford imo.

I wish he would have been fired 8 years ago

Agreed. McDonnell is not realistic at this point

Godwin was such a strange thing when it came to fan support when he was on Bianco's staff. One year everyone hated him, the next everyone sang his praises. I think he's a damn good coach.

Keith didn't extend Bianco's contract after last season. I think he was sending a message that he has to make it to Omaha more often. Last time that happened, we made it to Omaha. Guess we'll see if that happens again. A poor year this year, and Keith very well may send Bianco packing.

Without Bianco they’re a doormat. He built that program to what it is

Not trying to be a dick, but I'm surprised the 4 straight governor's cup hasn't lit the fire underneath him. I get it's kind of a pointless game, but perception is reality, especially in baseball. Baseball is better when Ole Miss is good. Makes the rivalry that much better.

It’s not even all about Omaha anymore at this point (although that’s still a very large part). We are not consistently hosting anymore. We have the past 2 years, although it took a miracle tourney run last year because of our regular season implosion, and then of course the year before being one of the biggest bed shits of Bianco’s career. We have not hosted a super regional since 2009. A fricking decade. That is pure shite and inexcusable.

Sure, but he's can't get them to Omaha. They should forever be grateful for building the program, but I think it's time to let someone else take the reins. They have the fan support and resources to stay competitive even if the next coach is a blunder.

Did I wake up and it’s 15 years ago?

I don’t think people care about the governors cup so much. Getting our asses handed to us in weekend series by y’all is getting fricking old though.

Is Bianco is any danger of being fired at Ole Miss?

Honest question, not trying to troll here

Yes. AD didn't extend his K at the end of last season.
