I wouldn’t do it. The athletic dept is about to go through a stretch where they have a little momentum with Kiffin and Kermit. You gotta let Bianco see if he can incorporate some of that momentum back into the baseball program. I mean they’re a perennial super regional team, but their 3 baseball rivals (LSU, MSU, ARK) are also, but with more CWS appearances.

I said this a while back. I thought Godwin was the spark on the Ole Miss team when he was coaching.
For Bianco to stay, the end of season collapses and the bone-headed coaching in regionals and super regionals has to end.
Bianco is Ole Miss's baseball Les Miles. We love the guy. He brings in awesome recruiting classes. He takes us to the brink of greatness. Then he falls flat on his face.
I don't say any of that lightly, as I remember the old days of Ole Miss baseball. But at some point we have to take the next step.

Not really... they just made the 2nd worst hire in history of their school. When it’s all said an done they will get the death penalty

And we are saying that we are willing to take the risk of a potential flop just to move on. You think South Carolina will suck for much longer? Not a chance in hell they would allow that.

I didn't say the job is more important, I said the hire would be. You actually have a chance to win a national championship in baseball. I'm not comparing the sports. I'm looking at the importance in respect to each sport's potential. Doesn't matter is who is coaching football. No school in Mississippi is gonna sniff a football NC anytime soon.
