Yea but the defense had them covered deep. I think Jake can still make that and all the other throws. His biggest issue is he’s just ridiculously inconsistent

Pretty good mechanics, stepped into his throw and threw off his front foot.
Look his technique and mechanics now. Throws off his back foot far too often, even when he has a pretty clean pocket, and he never seems to get his feet set. To me, that screams coaching.

They were so focused on getting him to grip wet footballs and stop him from flipping the football they forgot the whole footwork thing

Fromm is capable of making downfield throws. I think he, and really the entire offense in general, was just poorly coached this year.
There's no other way to explain the significant drop off from 2018 in scoring, total yards, yards/play, QB efficiency, rushing yards, etc. There wasn't a single thing UGA's offense did as well or better this year other than the OL allowing fewer sacks.

He had a great throw to Pickens at the end of the Missouri game but Pickens’ penalty negated it.

This is what people don’t get.
Fromm was elite for a freshman thrown into the situation he found himself in. If anything, we did this young man a disservice by not coaching him up over the last two years. If anything...we coached him down. I don’t know why or what but it’s obvious.
