I will be so happy when this is over.
If Arkansas gets Lane, OK, he wasn't my first choice.
If Arkansas doesn't get Lane, OK, he wasn't my first choice.
Whoever we get won't be Chad Morris so for a few months I'll get to enjoy thinking about football again.

I can definitely see this. Think of all the young coeds.

Dude, Ole Miss is about to run Mississippi for a long time.

He is not hated as much as you think.

Joey Freshwater + OM coeds = More Mississippians with no father at home.

I like Lane, but I don’t see why Arkansas or Ole Miss or any school on that level would hire him.
I don’t doubt his ability as a coach. But he’s not going to stay if he has success. He will jump at the first offer made by a bigger program.
That’s just what he does.

We're building him one of those Pope mobile carts w/ the bullet proof glass dome. I hope ark gets him.

I’m gonna laugh my arse off if Ole Miss hire Kiffin over Norvell or Napier.

He came with Bama each time. Don't know why we'd care about him as an OM coach.

Do they actually think he’ll behave himself around The Kappas and Tri Delts in Oxford

Seems like a risky hire for a team was just caught cheating .

No, Kiffin isn't that hated in Knoxville. He was chased out of town, literally with burning pitchforks, by hundreds of students down dark alleyways and escaped into a waiting getaway car by the skin of his teeth.
Sudden death awaited him, as surely as the sun rises each day, but, it wasn't that big of a deal.
All in all, he is still beloved and thought well of in Knoxville.

No he wasn't. The truth is a frat happened to be hauling off an old mattress to the junkyard (it was the end of the semester) when people learned what had happened. The frat guys took advantage of the situation and decided to burn the mattress 'in protest' instead of hauling it off.
There never was an angry mob. What there was were a bunch of students having a really hilarious time and desperately trying to keep warm (there are vids of them attempting small fires for that purpose and guys casually walking over with a fire extinguisher and putting it out - at one point one guy is cheered for letting them keep a small one going). The news portrayed it differently.

If he has 2-3 good years he will jump ship to a big program imo

Oh, he was hated then. Not so much now. Being a football fan you should know that.
