At least we didn’t score the potential tying TD only to have our WR pretend to be a dog pissing in the end zone, thus leading to a missed XP as time expired. That’s about the only way it could have been worse, though.

Congrats to Auburn, but that was one of the weirdest football games I’ve ever watched. We moved the ball up and down the field all game long on offense and made enough plays to win the game on defense, but then we would immediately nullify those plays with stupid penalties time and time again. Meanwhile Auburn was making ridiculous circus catches, completing throw-away balls for first downs, getting phantom timeouts to take a field goal attempt with one second left on a running clock, and having a Mac Jones pass bounce off the back of one of our receivers directly into the hands of their beaten defender who wasn’t even looking for it, and yet somehow had the superhuman reflexes to immediately catch it and then run 100+ yards for a score. It was one of those Iron Bowls that could only take place in Jordan-Hare stadium. Fitting that it ended on a stupid substitution penalty. Good win Auburn, y’all made the plays you had to make and deserved it. Also frick you.

Imagine that, from an Alabama fan.

Yep, I’d say. I give Sark a 50/50 shot of surviving to next season, but a complete reload on the defensive side seems in order. Golding has been a flop.

I still can't believe Auburn had 354 yards of offense but 48 points.

Granted, 14 came from pick 6s but that's still crazy.

This wasn't fluky. He threw it into the back of a player who hadn't turned around yet. It's basically how all Pick 6's happen.

I can believe it, because it occurred in an Iron Bowl played in Auburn. Doesn’t seem weird to me at all.

Alabama had some circus catches as well. And Auburn kept hurting themselves with stupid personal fouls.

Alabama looked poorly coached. Deal with it.

Can't thank Pat Dye enough for moving the game from Legion Field. He couldn't find his pants at the lake house but he always wore his big boy pants in the Iron Bowl.

It’s how they play. See the stat line of LSU-Aub vs the score. 508-287 total yards. 23-20 final score. Weird.

I guess one could say their scoring defense is way better than their ability to keep the ball from moving and Gus finds a way to hang around.

The “LSU” next to your name says the answer to your question is yes.
