Probably the head coach at Kentucky.
If he turned down FSU, do you really think he will take the Mizzou job?

Mizzou will do it what it takes. Why won't you Ray?

I wonder if Luke Fickel will be in the picture for Mizzou? He’s a good coach. Probably a better fit there than at any other SEC school.

It’s a fine Midwest institution.

Coaching market is getting crowded. FSU, Rutgers, Arkansas, Missouri all P5 openings and more coming. Better move fast as Early Signing Day is less than a month away. The firing hiring dynamic has really been changed by ESD.

I mean Mizzou belongs in the upper echelon of CFB.
They are used to winning championships and recruiting at a top ten level, Odom just wasn’t the man for this elite job.
So who yall going after to lead you back to Old Glory and return the program to its rightful place?
Freaking programs don’t realize their inherent ceiling. Be happy with 7-8 wins and an occasional 9.

I was obviously messing with the UK guy, man. Of course, Mizzou won’t make a good hire.

Finally! Nice guy but not a head coach for the SEC. He will get picked up by another team.

I would guess Sterk has been in talks for a while with some agents. The locker room and staff turmoil has been ongoing since the Ole Miss game in early October.

Well, his stock is down a bit after a disappointing follow-up season. I was pretty surprised that he apparently showed 0 interest in FSU. But he coached there as a DC, so that tells me he knows better.
I know they all THINK they can, but I wonder if any of these schools besides FSU can pull Norvell out of Memphis. I think Arkansas has already moved on. I have my doubts he would go to Mizzou. Now if USCe made a move, I think he would jump on that job.

He was a very good DC at Memphis. He will have a solid job somewhere next season.

Stoops overachieved this year. He’s a good coach. I haven’t heard his name as a target, but we could do worse.
