Campbell looks like a safe solid hire record wise.

I've warmed to Lane some, the record aint as strong as Campbell, but it's Lane... Oaklands suckage, USC with sanctions kicking in. 2 out of 3 good years with FAU.

Record wise he has improved and done ok at Memphis and VT. Memphis and VT is not apples to apples vs Toledo and ISU that Campbell has been at. Nutt 2.0? Campbell looks better.
These are the last 3 we have really heard about.
Is this the real pool or is it someone else?
I think whoever it is, Lunney needs to stay on staff and Pittman must be brought in.

My money is on Kiffin or someone completely out of nowhere.

I think if the search stopped right this instant Kiffin would be the closest to reeling in, with Norvell kinda standing 100 yards off in the distance with his hands raised in the air as if to say "what the frick guys?"
I like Leach but he's MIA in this coaching search, which means it'll probably be him.
Campbell isn't a real thing. It's just not. Let's stop pretending now because Hogville has a hard-on for him, we don't need to outshine them with our immaculate boners. We're better than them, remember?
