You haven't disappointed. 5 points, 50 points, who cares? LSU 46 A1abama 41. No guarantees you win your first CFP game even if you make it. And you better pray we don't lose to Georgia because if that happens, A1abama is done.

It was explained in the second half if you paid attention. Danielson admitted he didn't have all the information. They thought the call should have been illegal touching but the field ref declared the LSU player was forced out so illegal touching was not the correct call. Watch the replay. THEY CONFIRMED THE CALL ON THE FIELD.

He was wrong

No, he wasn't.

He was reporting what Steve Shaw told him. Further, he didn't agree with the call.

The SEC official Officiating account confirmed that's their story and they're sticking to it:

quote:

In #LSUvsBAMA, if a receiver is forced out of bounds due to contact by a defender, the receiver can re-establish position on the field and make a legal catch. On the play in question, the ruling on the field was the receiver was forced out of bounds by contact.

quote:

By rule, if there is contact between the defender and the receiver, whether or not a player was forced out of bounds is not reviewable. Replay confirmed the receiver reestablished himself and completed the catch. (2/2)

Tweet at them. Everybody else is.

"The SEC has the worst referees". Forget Moss' reception. LSU's drive early in the 3rd quarter, Chase is grabbed by his neck from behind, inside the 20 yd. line, green grass / end zone in front of him. He scores then it's 40 - 13, game LSU. That score takes bama's running game out of the game plan & Harris' running got bama back in the game. ( 4 carries in first half??? ).

You want to make a case that it was a catch? Go right ahead. I’ll wait. lol

Did you..........REALLY not hear and see what the ref said in the middle of the field to the stadium and to a national TV audience after the challenge ??????????

Poor Danielson and Verne
Can't stand that LSU may get a Heisman and natty at expense of their favorite team.

I can only imagine what y’all would have said if this was in reverse. The rant would have crashed.

You do understand that the catch was a 1st down play from Bama's 17yd line at a time where Bama's defense looked like a high school team right? LSU would've just scored in the next few plays anyway.

This is a very sad hill to die on.

eta: Btw, if this is even remotely true then all the shite said about Danielson is 100% true. He openly sounded dejected at times when LSU would convert. He actually gasped on air at the Marshall TD because he was so wide open.

In other words.................. RTWFU.

That PERFECT, thing of Beauty, pass & catch by Heisman Winner Burrow & legendary "MOSS" TE Son/Father........was just ONE example of many Fantastic plays executed by LSU the entire game.

That one play was INDICATIVE of the utter physical/mental/psychological DOMINANCE LSU had & maintained over Bama before, during & now after the game. The entire Football World was watching (fans, sportswriters, broadcasters, coaches fans/players from EVERY College & Professional TeamsNation).........and they overwhelmingly & happily agree that the LSU Tigers & Ed Orgeron SPANKED the Tide upside down, sideways, back/forth on Bryant Denny Field from start to finish.

It was obvious that that the LSU players, coaches & fans were "in Bama's heads" from even before the game began, and was evident throughout with their mistakes. LSU's very first 3 play perfect scoring drive by Burrow literally SKULL PSYCHED Saban & his Bama players/team. Saban looked ILL....like a "caged animal".

Burrow & MOSS - "MOSSED" the entire BAMA Nation in front of the entire World AND THEY LOVED IT!! That play & whole performance further CONFIRMED what/why:
LSU is America's DARLING TEAM!!

Take a Seat Bama & now Watch true/real Glory Unfold!

If you listened to the 2nd half on the CBS broadcast, Gene Steratore explained what happened:

Took a page and a half to get there, but finally someone got there

It is odd that force out was not part of the play that can be reviewed/reversed... But as you said, every team gets boned on a call or two over the years... and as was said elsewhere, it's not like that play was on 3rd or 4th down.

Clyde would have just ran it in from the 25 instead of the 1 in the next play...result of the game would still be 46-41 LSU....get over it you lost!!

Whose to say we dont score on the very next play? It was a good play, whether it was super pivotal or not is subjective at best.
