Cade York 11 of 13 FGs with one miss being from over 50 yards out.

Will Reichard 4 of 7, with 1 miss under 40 yards, 2 more under 50.

I know its always about offense/defense but this is a key part of the game, as it can take/lose momentum and we have seen where kicker has been important in #1 vs #2

But what were the other two misses from York?

He had two misses. One was over 50 yards, another one was over 40. He is a true freshman still, that is impressive and I trust him to make his kicks

Didn't he miss a PAT against Auburn?

Might've been a bad hold. Can't recall...

Has been, and probably will still be out with a hip flexor.

I absolutely concede the field goal kicking advantage to LSU. If the game does come down to a field goal, things might get profanely intolerable for Bama fans.

In Saban's tenure at Alabama, no team has missed more FGs than the Tide.

When the team was dunked in to the Black Warrior River, we forgot to bring the kicker along.

Yeah it was weird. The holder got the snap, put it down, then picked it up, then placed it down again. Totally screwed York up

I concede kicking to every fricking team in college football.

No clue about the hold but he’s missed 3 XPs this year. Super talented but just a freshman and has actually been a little shaky the last few weeks.

Yeah...York hasn’t looked comfortable in weeks. He’s hit uprights or come close, missed an extra point (not the Auburn one...which was a bad hold), and just generally looked like a talented freshman.

It’s clear we aren’t totally comfortable with just lining him up for a game-winning 40-yarder in Tuscaloosa right now...

Yeah, but would you trade him for Bulovas or a gimpy Reichard?

Probably not if you have any sense.

That’s good because LSU will be forced to kick FGs all game. Those RZ struggles against Auburn will come back to bite the Tigahs.

More like when Saban dunked the team into the river he was holding onto Will Reichard’s right foot (he ALWAYS chooses to hold his starting kicker’s foot during the annual procedure for some reason).

It’s Bama’s Achilles’ Foot.

No. I wouldn’t trade a current Bama kicker for any LSU kicker—past or present.

Well - joke is on you. Reichard is hurt so we have gone back to Bulovas at kicker.

He is 100% accurate on kicks that he kicks perfectly.

York went on the road in his second game and laced two kicks during prime time. The kid has it.

York has actually looked shaky in some games this year. I believe the Florida game he looked really out of it. Hopefully hes dialed in. I dont think anyone has an advantage here.

He hasn't missed one that he's made yet.
