UGA gets their first loss to a 2-3 team at home and is in the top 10.... Wake Forest loses their first game to a team that is now 4-2 and isn't even ranked.

Well, this is a strange feeling... I....uhhh...agree with you.

NDs. best “win” was a close loss to Georgia, second best was against a now unranked Virginia team.
Florida beat Auburn, and I think their loss vs LSU was a better loss than to Georgia.

How the AP voters voted. Click on the "All voters" tab and pick the voter.

Teams with 1st place votes...

Alabama - 30
LSU - 12
Clemson - 11
Ohio State - 9

Is it too early to consider a Nov 9th #1 vs #2 match-up, the 'Game of the Century 2.0'?

Alabama and LSU could be interchangeable at 1&2. Not going to argue one way or anothe on that.

Wisconsin looks better than everyone behind us. But Since they play Ohio state they can prove themselves when that time comes.

Clemson and Oklahoma for 5&6

Florida should be at 7

Auburn @ 8

Penn state and notre dame to finish the top 10.

Alabama and Clemson are still too high. I don't know why LSU isn't #1 on both polls, tbh.

Why is ND ranked ahead UGA ?

Because UGA’s loss was so, so bad.

Washington has no business being ranked after the turds they laid against Cal and Stanford.

How in the hell are they ranked above 8 teams with fewer losses?

I don't see any valid reason to rank Notre Dame above UF, AU or UGA. UF and AU clearly have better resumés. ND lost to UGA, the only ranked team they've played, and ND's best win is barely beating 3-3 USCw (30-27) at home last night. UGA has a bad upset loss, but ND's resumé just isn't good enough to override their loss to UGA.

Because they played and loss 2 competitive games against top 5 teams. They will win out and finish 10-2 in the top 10. Unfortunately they might be back lol
