Quit being obtuse. Do you really believe South Carolina and Missouri have the same roster, facilities or history as Auburn? Have they been ranked in the top-20 all season?

Is this a joke? You hate Auburn so much you can't even admit simple facts.

ou can bet your arse that there are some Auburn players (especially Dlinemen) who are starting to daydream about the upcoming draft
I imagine they are dreaming about knocking that little runt of a QB you have back there out of the game in a month.

You do understand what zero means right?
Sort of like Auburn running the table.

Airbnb, you were talking about Auburn making the SECCG and the playoff. See OP.

Son, you're obviously too upset for us to have a reasonable conversation, so let's just file this topic back to be discussed another time. Enjoy the rest of your day!

You can keep repeating the same bullshite, but it doesn't make you sound any smarter. Nobody but senile old fricks that should be getting 24 hour elder care really believe that USC and Missouri have the same shot at the playoffs as Auburn. Not even those fans do.
Go get your poopy diapers changed and come back when you are less cranky and able to have a real conversation.

Hell, the zero isn't even really the problem. It is wrong, but the liklihood of Auburn running the table with the schedule we have and the holes we have on the team, it is very unlikely.
That has no bearing on what the OP asked/said in actuality, and Crisp can't even grasp that.
As a player on the team, nothing has changed on the season outlook. If they were going to play it easy and avoid injuries, they'd have done it before the UF game too. This loss has done nothing to change what the outcome of the season can be. The task is pretty much just as hard as it was going to be. If we had beaten UF, we still would most likely have to run the table.

I've brought reality to you and stuck it in your face, so I'm a "bad poster". The closeness of the AU/FLA game has NOTHING to do with the fact that it was a LOSS for Auburn, now they can't afford to lose another game for the rest of the year while having to play, LSU, Alabama, and Georgia TWICE! Now if you want to hang on to that "hope" fine, but don't be surprised if some of your players consciously, or subconsciously, don't begin to prepare for the draft and all that $$$$ they'll be getting.
I stand by my previous post.

So you admit that in 2017 you were wrong in thinking Auburn couldn't run the table on uga and bama? It's not likely but it's nice to see you realize that could also happen this year as well.

Bo played extremely bad. I don't think he could play any worse than he did Saturday. He left points on the field, threw like 20 bad passes, just a bad game. It happens. We knew it would be low scoring game, and every point would be tough for both teams. And we gave Florida the ball on the 2 yard line after screwing up a punt return.
Why leave the kid in there like that when there is a big, strong viable option standing on the sideline that maybe could've given a spark?
Why when down by 11 pts with 9 minutes left would a coach continuously call slow developing plays and the QB drain the play clock down to 6 secs before the snap?
That last offensive drive was Gus showing exactly who he is, it has to be frustrating as a fan to watch that every dang year.

You hit it all on the head, and it’s very frustrating as an Auburn fan. It’s extra frustrating knowing that he has a QB sitting on the sideline that is the exact kind of QB he wins big with.

Because that is all we have in the playbook. We don't have a short passing game to play with.

Yep. My biggest reason for being Team Gatewood before the season is I know the type of offense it would peg Gus into. It would be something that would help keep him within a single scheme. I know what that offense looks like, and I know it can be successful.
I think Nix is a hell of a QB, and long term is going to be a great player, but Gus has shown he doesn't know how to consistently call & coach an offense for a QB like him. Having a passing scheme that is largely shot plays with 1-2 reads, when you aren't running a consistent zone read is very easy to stop if you aren't just gashing people in the run game. We don't teach our QB's to read the defense much, they have a progression of routes (not uncommon, just a fact of the offense).
Nix needs to be able to read a defense and take what is there. There should be check down routes and easy throws. Our passing plays are designed to either be a shot play, or a play to set up another shot play.

They still completely control their destiny. We arent talking about odds here, we are talking about the ability to still make the playoffs. Saturdays game did not harm Auburns ability to make the playoffs

You all know me on here, Bama to the core, etc.
But I watched that game with a ton of my AU friends and I was screaming for Auburn more than they were. I was pissed that adjustments weren't made when the scripted stuff was shut down in the 1st qtr.
Gus will never change in some aspects of his philosophy, he is who he is. But he and his staff have worked so hard to acquired more talent than any AU coach before him and it feels like he's wasting it. You don't sit Schwartz/Shiver/Gatewood/Joiner when your offense is just can not execute.

Exactly. Not sure why that is so hard for some to grasp.
Auburn as a team is still in the same place they were before the loss. Some holes have definitely been exposed, but every core goal they have for the season is still right in front of them.

Bingo, Bango, Bongo.
The amount of talent we waste on offense under Gus is staggering.
