When Pruitt gets canned (most likely), how confident are Vols fans that Fulmer will make the right choice to make UT relevant again? Or have they completely given up?

Hopefully that fat frick will appoint himself as head coach. He's owed a few more code reds until he takes the dirt nap.

Odds are there will not be a hire this year.

I think this is a given. Tennessee has been irrelevant long enough that it doesn't have brand recognition with a lot of younger players. It's going to take a Saban, Meyer or like coach to resurrect the program and there aren't that many generational coaches.

Maybe they will after Clark whips those pumpkin-colored asses in a few weeks.

UT will have to make a home run hire next time. It will be the biggest contract in CF history . I could see an Urban Meyer type hire.

Serious question for Vols fans - do you really think Pruitt is gone after this season? I don't have a dog in the fight, but it's only his second year. And according to all the UT fans I work with, "he's only just now getting rid of Butch's guys and getting his own in there!"

I work with a dude who will literally come up with a new excuse each day as to why they suck and how things are about to turn the corner.

That, and being a backstabbing, donut-loving, snitch is precisely why he is owed a few more.

Fulmer’s an old has-been.

He’s a cheeseburger away from the big one. Coach? He’d be over on the sideline

He's waiting for the schedule to lighten up in few weeks to fire the coach and take over - again.
