If the sec could do it all over again, would you rather take Texas over Texas A&M?

LSU beats ATM 7 out of 8 times and gets no real credit for it.

Go 8-1 or 7-2 over Texas and forcing the national media converse about LSU crushing a once proud program.

Texas can’t push around the sec like aggy wants you to believe. ....I don’t care how many bedtime, point to the doll, ghost stories aggy has tried to fear-monger over here.

But if we had to do it all over again, I’m going with the program that is worth a frick over the one that got some ink for a drunk heisman winner.

Then the other 5 programs would say the same thing.

Looking for input from :
Bama
Auburn
MSU
Ole miss

Texas will always be the first school. TAMU will always be the second school.

Obviously you want the first.

You can pump your chest out all you want about bedtime ghost stories, but you never have shared a conference with them.

If I had my choice, I'd take neither nor Missouri. I'd want Virginia Tech and the Tarheels but the latter would never leave the ACC.

The SEC is a King maker, we invite Tamu and all of sudden they have to add seats. frick Texas, let them wallow in their mid major conference.

OU was out of their mind for not jumping to the sec over Missouri. Same for FSU.

Why, at this point, would anyone care?

For the sake of answering, I'm glad we chose A&M over the Moo Moos.

Hell no, frick Texas. Let them wither away with the Big 12. A&M was the correct choice.

In hindsight, Alabama allowing LSU into its conference when they formed the SEC was a mistake.

LSU has never offered Alabama competition on a level that much better than MS. State, historically.

LSU fans are obnoxious, violent, nasty in appearance, mostly uneducated, and a great many of their base can't properly speak the English language.

But, LSU has hung in there and gave some other SEC teams competition over the decades, so I suppose that is a positive.

Alabama should have removed LSU from the SEC instead of Tulane, as they are a much more dignified fan-base. And, as far as Alabama is concerned, Tulane and LSU have been on basically the same footing as far as being good competition for Alabama.

The point of all this being that it matters what your perspective is. There are some fan-bases that view LSU just as useless and unwanted and untalented, in the course of history, as LSU or Texas views A&M.

This is an interesting take.

No. We do not want those arrogant Longhorns. The dirty shite they pull with revenue non-sharing and create the Longhorn network ignoring the other teams is pathetic. Why does Oklahoma ride their coattails and go along with this crap is beyond me.

We in the SEC pretend we hate each other but we don't. We are a family. We give everyone an equal share deserving or not. Texas doesn't play well with others.

Every week a Longhorn fan ask this question. No. We will never regret Texas AM joining. You guys keep coming hoping we will regret our choice but we don't. Texas AM was the better choice. They are nuts but they are family now

Texas and its not close. The sec only looked for money in the state of Texas. If not A&M they would have taken Tech, TCU, or Baylor just the same.
