I’ve never understood the Stidham hate on this board. He had a shitty o line last year and a coach who made shitty play calls and shitty WR routes.

Kid seemed to mail it in last year. Maybe that’s unfair, but his demeanor and body language during and after losses was a turn off. Guy honestly didn’t seem to mind losing.

JS had no OL last yr. he has his flaws but so does Nix. The key is does Nix correct his flaws.

I honestly felt bad after my post. In general I thought he was a bit overrated in 2017. He put up great numbers but it isn't hard to link those to KJ's impact when he was healthy. I know he gave us a great season in 2017 but unlike most I blame him more for LSU and uga II than Gus or anyone else. I also thought he didn't show much heart last season...I know the OL was an issue, but his way of handling it compounded the problem.
That beings said...to my point I couldn't pass up the softball troll. He did play for Auburn and all things considered represented our school well.

At least for me I was turned off by his apparent apathy on the sideline both years. Never really seemed to mesh with his teammates. Add in his regression and it was frustrating.

Don't feel bad. He was absolute garbage last year, playing to not get hurt because he thought he was better than he actually is. He had at least 100 times he could have extended plays, but chose to fold like a cheap lawn chair. frick him. Enjoy your short NFL career Stidham.

Same people talking about predictable and uncreative play calling.
Same people talking about how we don’t have any routes to help QBs out ... i.e. screen or throwing a bomb.

AU people feel about Stidham like uga feel about Stafford. A kid with immense talent who was always in it for the pro prospects rather than giving it the ol' college try. I respect that. Its not my preferred type of player to cheer for, but I respect it. I wish Stidham well.
