Delpit and Stingley Jr are the real deal. It will be fun watching them play this year. Enjoy them LSU and great win last night.

To be fair, neither team looked anywhere close to DBU...

Might as well burn the entire city of Austin while they are at it.

I never said that your team was, only that Texas definitely isn’t.
Take the complement cause those two players are fun to watch, geez.

It would be very difficult to find any program with better defensive backs than these in their history:
-Jerry Gray
-Stanley Richard
-Quentin Jammer
-Nathan Vasher
-Michael Huff
-Michael Griffin
-Bill Bradley
-Aaron Ross
-Raymond Clayborn
-Johnnie Johnson
-Bryant Westbrook
-Earl Thomas

-Quentin Jammer
-Nathan Vasher
-Michael Huff
-Michael Griffin
-Bill Bradley
-Aaron Ross
-Raymond Clayborn
-Johnnie Johnson
-Bryant Westbrook
-Earl Thomas

LSU is DBU from years of producing greats defensive backs not one game.

I have heard of 2 of those players (Michael Huff and Earl Thomas), and I am pretty sure one was because bama played against him in my lifetime. Not sure why I knew the name Michael Huff TBH.
EDIT: I just checked Huff's wiki, and I remember now -- he was in the USC/Texas NC game. Only time I have ever pulled for Texas, except sometimes against OU.

quote:I actually thought the LSU defensive backfield showed incredible depth and was a huge factor in the win. We made plays on some good Ehlinger throws and got beat on the perfect ones. UT had no RBs and Ehlinger was on-target so they passed a ton. Good throw gonna beat good coverage. A few bad plays but usually beat some talented receivers one-on-one.

FIFY. Downvote away. It's the truth.
Link to back it up.
Which school is the real DBU?

You're a dumbass if you don't put Ohio State up very high on that list.

I completely agree. The d-line was not getting much pressure on Ehlinger and he made some plays with mostly over the middle of the field. When Ehlinger was sacked, it was mostly coverage sacks.

Pretty sure 4 straight appearances in the CFP finals with 2 wins since then have helped ease the pain. Pretty sure the recent memory of losing by 4 TDs to each of Clemson, Purdue, and Iowa the past 3 seasons has got to still be hurting. (We know a little about losing to Clemson by 4TD's as well, granted).
Edit: Who will OSU lose to by 4 TD's this year? or is that an Urban Meyer thing?
