Getting dragged out of the depths of sports hell like:
Ready for Sunday. Really hoping we can play smart football Sunday. Excited to see what their stadium is like and how it compares to Arthur's palace.

Not sure if I will ever recover from the PTSD I received after SB LI.
I just watch Red Zone instead of Falcons games now

If you're an Atlanta sports fan... I hate to say you should be conditioned to it by now.
Only exception if is if you were a UGA fan as well, in which at that point, I'd suggest you stop watching football.

I really only watch the NFL for fantasy purposes anyways so the Red Zone suits me just fine.

Yeah this not a good way to start a season long thread
One of our resident UGA posters need to hit him up on the Georgia Board and get him to edit it.

I saw a falcons "uniform schedule" the other day. 3 of our 8 home games will feature the black throwbacks with white pants. personally, I'd prefer the silver pants, but as long as we get the black jersey and old black helmet, I'm cool with it.
I love the positioning of the BYE in the middle of that brutal 3 game stretch. We could easily lose all 3, so the BYE helps. If we are 4-2 heading into the Rams game, I'll feel good about the season up to that point. Really need to be 5-3 heading into the back half where 6 of the 8 games are division games (never seen this before, but I kinda like it assuming we can stay healthy).

The cycle of pain is getting fun at this point.

I only wear the throwbacks to the game. I actually don't mind our white (or even the new logo), but I'm not the biggest fan of the red jerseys with all that bizarro sleeve piping.

TBQH, I think most people would take their pro and college teams playing for championships in a 12-month span... and be yearly contenders following the anguish.
But for the sake of Atlanta, I hope the Falcons/Braves pull something off soon.

I'd love those titles, but there's only one I truly want right now. I'd trade a lot for said title.

Idk I'm digging the pain right now. I think I'm a Sports S&M guy now.

I'd trade 2-3 of our national titles for a Super Bowl... Went to every natty we've won (and lost) and some of the parades/celebrations, and then went to the Super Bowl back in Houston... it really gets lost on us as college football fans how much of a bigger deal the Super Bowl is.
The parade to send the team off to Houston was larger than any one we had in Tuscaloosa.
With the way college football is setup, I mean, it's not devastating to lose a title game because certain programs have distinct money/recruiting advantages over others. Georgia and Alabama are two of those programs. I'm pretty positive I'll see both of those aforementioned schools win football titles again in my lifetime.
With the NFL, no such guarantee. It's probably what makes the 28-3 sting hurt so badly. With even revenue distribution, a salary cap, and more internal resources than you could ever imagine - winning a title in the NFL is quite literally, the summit of American sports. F*** the Patriots.

10-6
I like looking at the schedule as quadrants and going from there and I have us going 2-2, 2-2, 3-1, 3-1.
Might be enough for the division. We are good enough but that first eight games could see us go against 6 playoff teams, and that might be enough to keep us from the division title.
I do think we can be as good as anyone in the league with the amount of talent we have.

You see the back half of the schedule the same way that I do.

What do we think is going to happen on Sunday? I'm cautiously optimistic; this team is absolutely good enough to win in Minnesota. Need the rookies to play well on the OL.

Can we pressure the QB?
Yes. Win
No. Lose
I think we can score 24

no clue lol. I didn't watch one minute of preseason, and even if I did it seems like teams are putting less importance on them than ever before.
