They will beat Texas by 10+ and it could get ugly. You heard it here first.

I hope you‘re right. Thanks.

I know you don't care because you already said so but let's not anoint them King Dingaling when they massacred a team that only attempted 11 passes and completed a third of those. That is the definition of one dimensional. Texas will undoubtedly throw the ball more often than that.

Good. Throw at our secondary often.

Texas will easily beat them. Texas has the slight edge at QB and huge edge at HC. I will give LSU credit on defense however. The tigahs have a slightly better dline. But Texas' superior oline negates that one positive.

So when LSU waxes UT, will you give O credit?

Texas can certainly lose. Will it happen? We'll find out in one week.

Uhhh...do you mean play offense? Where else would we throw the ball? To the DL? The refs? The announcers in the sky boxes? What are you even talking about?
I swear you swamp kitties act as if you're the only team in America with a talented secondary. Texas is literally so deep at DB that we have a package with 8 of them on the field at once. And every single one is a former 4 or 5 star recruit. Please, throw at ours and when Burrow has no wide open throws what does he do then? Run? HAHAHAHAHAHA riiiiiiiiight.

Come back to me after they struggle against Texas.

It’s football ignorant posters who submit posts such as this one that make this board a complete waste of time.
GA Southern only averages 10 passes per game. Also, do you honestly not think LSU’s 2 pre-season All America DB’s and defensive backfield as a whole had anything to do with them keeping the ball on the ground?
LSU’s defense held GA Southern under 100 total yards and caused 2 turnovers. They are a Sunbelt team but unlike Tenn opponent, Ga Southern won 10 games last season.
Grow up and if you plan to keep posting here, then educate yourself on the other conference teams instead of just the one you pull for.

Burrow is an excellent runner. So yes.

I’ve been following college football a while, especially the SEC. LSU is one of those programs (for whatever reason) that does this stuff often. They will look like world beaters in that game because that’s the strange thing about LSU. They want that game and they will win that game. Seen it too often. Texas better play their A game because I am telling you now that LSU win’s that game and I see some turnovers to boot.

Sam Ehlinger is going to get HIT!

Yes, his 3.1 average and 7 touchdowns last season just jump off the page.

Pre melt is not a good look here.
Those 4 or 5 star leftovers everyone in the SEC let you have after getting our pick gave up 340 yards to LA Tech.

Ah, so because they average 10 passes per game is an acceptable excuse for being one dimensional? Do you see how ignorant that argument is? I'm not sure what "preseason" AA DB's have to do with a team that almost *refuses* to throw the ball. Please walk into DKR expecting Texas to be intimidated by Burrow or your "preseason AA DB's".

Burrow may not be as good a runner as Ehlinger, but he is not far behind...will surprise the Tea-sip fan base next week...
We’re having Bevo brisket for the game dinner & the Fighting Tigers will be eating the same on TV...brisket all around!!!
LSU will show UT that we aren’t UGA...
