Incredible defensive line

A lot of depth all over

Ridiculously fast players on offense

Veteran OL

Swiss Army knife type players to use in HUNH (Joiner and some kid whose name I won’t attempt to spell)

Malzahn back in control of the offense

All they need is a dual threat QB. Auburn with low expectations is the most dangerous Auburn there is. I’m thinking they win in TS this year as well.

Can totally see Auburn going 11-1 or 10-2 this year. It’s what they do in these situations.

I agree. They are going to be a factor.

I for one am expecting a crazy circus of a game for Bama at JHS per usual when Auburn has a good team.

I too think so. Don't under-estimate these guys. They will win at least 2-3 games that they are picked to lose.

There is no question about QB. It will be Bo Nix as the starter and he's going to do really really well.

I know Auburn has had some rabbit in the hat years, but this any hype this year is absurd.

Our OL got better last year but was still rather shitty. We’re losing a veteran quarterback to two freshmen.

Our running backs have potential but honestly, neither Boobie nor Shivers struck me as a competitive SEC back.

We do have speed on offense but Malzahn now has a long, consistent history of producing absolute dud gameplans. We will not go to A&M or LSU and win. We will not beat Georgia or Alabama.

Can the magic happen? Sure.

But there’s no reason to predict it.

I believe I made the same arguments and was shot down:

Y'all are stupid to overlook Auburn

I think alot of people recognize that no one has any idea if they'll be good or not. Luckily we don't have long until we find out how good everyone is.

Some are but it's far from everyone. They've got everything you need if this Nix is a souped up Fromm which he is rumored to be. He's not your normal freshman. Two strong dog lines and a damn good secondary with great speed at WR.

Honestly, Auburn is at their best when everyone underestimates them. They are usually terrible when they have high expectations

What I'm frustrated about that virtually no one has mentioned is the perceived talent at WR that has gone completely AWOL. We have had some of the best WR classes in the country come in and nothing to show for it yet. Yes they have speed, but we can't have success at the QB position without receivers that can catch a ball that hits their hands. The Arkansas game with Sean White comes to top of mind as a good example.

Not I. I still get sick every time I come across last year's game on SEC Network.

Never say always or everyone or never .... I for one am not underestimating Auburn it's just that their schedule is a bitch.

Auburn, A&M and SC have three really tough schedules. All three will be beat up by the end of the season and the one that has the best depth and luck will have a really good season.
