Another funny fact, look up how many undefeated seasons they have, despite having one of the most talent rich states. They FIND a way to frick it up.

Except: when you click on the list of champions on NCAA.org, it sends you to NCAA.com, mine and the OPs link.

His downloads a random PDF.

If the standard is NC's then UGA has underperformed. A state with as much football talent along with a great football coach should have more big trophies. Is Kirby the guy to finally get the Dawgs rings? We'll see. I believe he will get it done.

Dude. Click on the link. It says it is from NCAA.org.

The NCAA does not award National Championships, they only recognize them. The link you showed was only from a select few sources, while the link I shared was from the complete list of recognized National Championships by the NCAA.

Click on the link and see what it says.....plainly.....NCAA.org.

You mean "his" from NCAA.org. It's not rocket science...just click on the link, then go to the address bar and read.

TLDR
The document resides on the NCAA.org web site....thus the NCAA.org as a part of the web address.

I don't think there is any argument here. Most reasonable Georgia fans will admit that we have underperformed. We are hoping it gets straightened out.

When UGA wins a title in the next 5 years, what will y’all knock UGA on?

Georgia is one of 3 teams to have won a playoff game in last 4 years. If you’re not Clemson or Alabama sit down

Big-6 always appears. Even with random arse year choice like “1946”. At least go with 1949 so it’s a round 70 years.

Kirby has been a head coach all of 3 seasons. He has a playoff win and a SECC.

All of his recruiting is just now an upper-class this 2019 season.

It will be fun to see what Kirby can do with his recruits after 2 years in the system.

The future for UGA football looks very bright from my seat. Then again you remember when Guz was going to run Nick Saban out of town. We'll see.

Note...it does appear Guz did get his President run out of town and perhaps his former AD Jay (ticket taker) Jacobs.

I could not agree more. There is NO doubt that UGA football is a champion at underachieving. UGA has been consistent forever....but football isn't as important at UGA as it is at true powerhouse programs like Alabama and Oklahoma....its sort of a nice accessory....there are some reasons for this....Georgia is, due to Atlanta, more like a northeastern state in small ways than most of the south is...kids in metro Atlanta have allegiances to many places other than UGA or GT because Atlanta is a regional economic dynamo unequaled in the SE...even compared to South Florida.

There is also the pro sport issue....not as much emphasis on college football and college sports in states with pro sports and normal population centers...not California, Texas or Florida with outsized populations (and honestly Texas and much more of a traditional power house than UGA).

There is no doubt UGA has underachieved for years. It takes a lot of luck to win a NC and until the playoffs it also took a lot of media attention...but with all of that UGA still has had AMPLE opportunities to win more NCs and has blow those chances. When the sun shines you gotta make hay lest your barn become empty....

Why didn't UGA recognize all of their "multiple" National Championships in their own sign? On this, just outside their own stadium?

I'd say it's because UGA is an underachieving bunch of bitches. Just like your mascot, at last years Sugar Bowl.

I wonder....does Auburn have more undefeated seasons? If they do, then my question is....why do both schools have the same number of National Championships? Who screws it up more?

Don't make the same mistake I made. He is taking up for Georgia (me specifically, I guess)

This is true. It's still early, no doubt, and it takes time to make a qualified opinion.

Every national Championship achieved before the BCS is claimed in hindsight, so what difference does it make.

Look, Florida had a nice 10-15 year run. It was historic. It was great. But it's over. Make the playoffs or win the SEC, then beat your chest some more.

Win a National championship more than once in 40 years .....and then beat your chest.
