“I tell everyone Georgia is definitely the hardest team I’ve played since I’ve been in college,” Crimson Tide linebacker Dylan Moses said. “It’s really because they are very aggressive, just like us. So when we play against them we have to bring our ‘A’ game.
quote:
“I’d say Georgia is the toughest team, too,” Jeudy said. “I don’t really think scoreboard defines the best of the teams, because some days the team could be at its best and win the games, and some days the team could be at its worst.
quote:
“For example, my freshman year we beat Clemson bad (24-6) last year, they beat us bad, so it depends on that moment who’s the best team,” he said. “Every time we play Georgia, it has always been a great game, so that’s how I define who’s the best team.”

Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said he couldn’t get a good enough read on the Bulldogs to make an assessment when asked to compare Clemson and Georgia.

I think Clemson was a little tougher.

That's some brilliant logic right there.

Alabama's defense just rolled over for Clemson, so I could see how Georgia was more physically/mentally tough.

Georgia is the new Alabama but shouldn't they want to be the new Clemson

You misspelled "picked apart"
Clemson had a great game plan. I am certain that Clemson threw things at them they had never seen. I am also certain that bama was playing on their heels. bama could never make the adjustments.

The same Bama defense that played the last two qtrs vs OU played all 4 qtrs vs Clemson. Hell they couldn't stop A&M in the 4th qtr nor MSU. The 29-0 win over Loseranna State wasn't a true picture of the defense.

Bama ate up with the stupid today.

Very good point.
bama didn't get there last year because of their D. bama's O was scary. I was more shocked at how Clemson's D took away bama's O.

The stats weren't that lopsided. Clemson didn't surpass us in total yardage until the final drive of the game. The final box score was 482-443 in the yardage department.
We moved the ball effectively against them. There were just some ill-timed turnovers and stupid decisions (i.e. the fake field goal) that gave Clemson serious momentum going forward.

That has always been a misleading stat to me. A lot of teams play a bend-but-don't-break style of D.
on third down........
Clemson 10-15
bama 4-13
That is where the game was dominated by Clemson on both sides of the ball.

They also were up 21+ for 85% of the 2nd half.
I don’t think the offensive game plan was the same for the teams at that point.

Clemson beat them. This is sad. Bama players cant seem to admit defeat. Just like their fans.

Did they have an interpreter for Jeudy?

We didn't move the ball at all in the second half. The vast majority of our yardage came in the first half. We also won time of possession 31:37-28:23, so it's not like they were sitting on the ball either.
They were up 28-16 at halftime and we had outgained them almost 2-to-1. The team effectively gave up when Lawerence completed that long bomb for a TD on 3rd and long on their opening drive of the third quarter. We lost our starting DB and the game on that play.
