I'll defend LSU here a bit. They do already have the #6 and #9 rated safeties committed. So they may not have as big of a need at safety as OM does this year. Let's be honest, OM has immediate playing time available for most positions.

He wasn't (while we're after bigger fish) and we do.
Alford and Ransom are our targets
ETA: Nice pickup, rebels. Gonna be fun to watch him compete against our WR haul for the 2020 class.

To be fair nothing. But any time a Louisiana kid showing an LSU offer commits somewhere else the LSU fan reaction is like clockwork. I don’t know if this kid has an actual offer or not but I’d bet LSU fans say he doesn’t. Which is exactly what all the LSU fans in this thread said. It’s very predictable.

Its even more predictable when it is true. We have room for one more safety slot and that is being held by Alford or Ransom. The rest of our spots are going to lineman.

He has an offer, but he is way down LSU's board. That doesn't mean he isn't a great prospect. It just means that he probably made a good decision to commit to Ole Miss. Stop being a little bitch and look it up.

LSU will ALWAYS show interest in a LA 4 star recruit, regardless of position. However, LSU currently has the #6 and #9 safeties already committed and are likely done with the position for this class. Just enjoy the commit lol

He's had an offer for a while, but he's behind Alford and Ransom on the S board and we're only taking 1 more there so wasn't committable at this time as we pursue them, it's certainly a guy we'll press for though if we miss on both Alford and Ransom.

If LSU were to miss out on Ransom and Alford, Reed is likely the next guy and would flip to LSU

He's a good player that LSU would definitely have signed and wants on their team...except they have better prospects already signed and ones we are still looking at and don't have the room to take him. He's a good player. Just couldn't make the numbers work with our class and arent willing to trade his commitment for the ones we already have at safety. Truth.
