What I like about this ranking, they actually publish their methodology.

Any list of universities that include U of Maryland ain’t worth shite. That place has no soul and is run by communists. Laugh at this BS list.

I like the methodology because 90+% of students could never afford to go to an Ivy or could never get it. So it makes sense to develop a list which balances cost, social utility and academics.

That being said, this isn’t an attempt to rank the best academic universities. It is the “best” under its own methodology.
