May 30: Mullen claims he started the Ole Miss/MSU rivalry
“Many years ago when I became a (head) coach and we started building at Mississippi State, you didn’t have this huge tradition and other things, so we built this rivalry between Mississippi State and Ole Miss,” Mullen said. “And so everything became that everything I say must be an attack at Ole Miss, and everything they are saying is an attack at Mississippi State."

btw...I have heard Mullen and family have been to Lake Oconee in GA a lot this summer. Does anyone know how many times he has been there with all this going on in his program?

What a dumpster fire! One would think that Florida’s trash talking HC would be worrying about his own program instead of criticizing his betters. Appreciate the daily updates. It’s pretty amazing when you see it all in print. Florida is a renegade program with a “legend in his own mind” HC. Maybe he should actually accomplish something other than having probably the worst disciplined team in the country before he spouts off.
Didn’t see the update about the former Gator captain arrested for killing his wife. 2 murderers on the same team! Urban really could pick em too!

I thought Mullen would recruit better than this. I knew he wasn't elite, but I thought he'd be at the Mark Richt level given a talent rich state like Florida. Honestly, it's hard to see much difference between him and his predecessor on that front at this time.
Miami rents a stadium to play in and recruits better.
FSU is terrible and recruits better.
UF wins ten games and still can't get it going.
I think Mullen is a good, not great, coach. But where does this myth come from that he's some kinda in game Einstien- King of the halftime adjustments, offensive innovator?
In two games vs. Smart and UGA he's lost by 19 and 28 points. Both games the score differential was worse in the second half.
He lost two games last year when he had the more talented roster. Heck, vs. Mizzou he couldn't even keep it close. His ceiling is Mark Richt and the only time Richt had someone of Kirby's caliber as a recruiter in the division was when Meyer was at UF. That didn't turn out well for UGA.

UGA fans are the worst in the conference. I have good friends that are UGA alumni and from reading here and being to several games. Literally the most unicorn fairytale fan base by far. Really far.
Listen y'all play in the east and for the last decade you've been handed a free pass to the SEC ship game. You haven't accomplished a single thing outside of that. Yet for some strange reason you feel as if you're some power school feared by all.......here's a wake up call
You've won more "most overrated team of "blank year" than you have wins over top 5 teams. You embarrass yourself 9 times out of 10 on the big stage..... Oh and 36-16.......
