Spinoff Thread 2: Bama's 1st Rounders vs AU

I never really researched it, but some of the posts about Auburn's 5* busts made me look at what the two teams (Bama and AU) looked like the years Auburn won (10,13,17). Below is the list of players who started those years and who were eventually drafted in the 1st Round after their career was over (note-listed a couple of early second round players). :
2010-Bama
Ingram
J. Jones
Carpenter
Womack
Flucker
Dareus
Hightower
Upshaw (2nd round)
Kirkpatrick
Barron
Auburn -2010
Cam
Fairley
Bama-2013
Cooper
Kelly
Yeldon (2nd round)
Mosely
Clinton-Dix
Foster
Collins
2013-Auburn
Ford
Robinson
2017-Bama
Ridley
Williams
Evans
Fitzpatrick
2017-Auburn
Johnson-(2nd Round)
Based on talent alone, how could Auburn even stay on the field with those teams, much less beat them.

Why?...
Started off to see if it was true that Gus couldn't develop talent, but turned into how did Saban frick that up.

Just glad we've found a sweet spot where everyone is content
- Alabama wins 7 SEC Titles and 5 national titles
- Auburn beats Alabama 1 time every 3/4 years with less talent
It's good to see everyone happy

You left out how happy the Dodge Dealership is.

For every story, there is another side. It started as a good troll and actually triggered the research. I think it sends a different narrative we never hear about. It almost gives credence to my belief that Saban is not a great game day coach.

He's basically Ron Zook with better car knowledge
Surprised some rivals want him to leave. Imagine what happens when we finally hire a competent X's and O's guy to match up with our Dodge distributions.

He's only as good as his talent advantage over the other team. He never out coaches anyone. Freeze proved what a decent X and O guy can to him without all the extra talent.

Damn dude, you really were triggered from that post weren't you? I was kidding when I responded to your initial melt, but now it seems as if it were the correct diagnoses.

So true! Too bad for you he's about to be gone and we might actually hire someone who can coach

You are a sad, sad little man. He never out coaches anyone... right. Makes sense.
You are mental, friend. Seek help.

Probably not, though

Just proves recruiting is more important than coaching. That and a good relationship with ESPN( eye test).

Just buy a couple Chargers, roll those balls out there and become buddies with Herbie and Fowler.
Bang, 5 titles in 10 years.
