Can’t wait for Woodward to replace Mainieri

It won't be easy, but LSU can still win the West. Plenty of baseball left to be played.

We’ve seen this movie before

Depends on the State vs Ole Miss series. If there’s a sweep on State’s end (I doubt it), then LSU will have trouble since we have USCe at home to close it out.

No it depends on Arkansas since they are in the drivers seat.

Just checked the schedule. Didn’t even realize Arkansas hasn’t played A&M and LSU yet.

Oh look, another let's pretend to care about baseball thread.

I believe it's @ Arkansas. It's hard to win a series @ Arkansas. State knows that first hand

gotta admit, I'm pleased that UGA is in this conversation

Before the season started, I thought we'd have a pretty mediocre year and be sent somewhere for regionals. We lost a lot last year.
Although we can still frick it up at any time, I didn't think we'd even have a chance for another national seed.

I think you are much improved this year. The record says otherwise but this division is ridiculous.

I think we can all agree that we all expected Arkansas, MSU, OM, and LSU to be the top 4 in the West in some order. If you would have told me that UGA and Mizzou would have been ahead of UF and SCAR I would have laughed at you.

Yep, everyone except the media and coaches expected this. MSU preseason at 6 was a joke.

Luckily, LSU is at home. We are brutally great at home. Then again, LSU kinda has our number.
With all of that said, I'd be surprised if we don't take at least 2 out 3. Baum is a tough place (for opponents) to win.

The top 6 in the west should all host a regional. The Western division is a torture chamber.

I’d laugh too if my team is finally winning at something

West is a meat grinder as normal.
