Disturbing rumor making the message board rounds.....

He didn’t run at 1am on the live feed and now the rumor mill has started.....

Maybe he is going to flunk out, but I wouldn’t go believing anything not said from the athletic department.

He posted an Instagram story overnight listening to a song with the lyrics, “even though I dropped out of school.” It’s over. We’re done. :sarcasm:

Didn’t he come close to not qualifying during his recruitment?

Herrien was under recruited coming out because he entered his senior year as a likely non-qualifier.

Since that time, he has busted his arse to get eligible as a HS senior, perform well academically at UGA, never have even a hint of trouble, emerge as a vocal leader, and answer the bell every time the ball is in his hands.

The term DGD gets thrown around way too much, but Herrien certainly qualifies.

This rumor smells of bullshite to me because it doesn’t make sense. Occam’s Razor and all that.

First of all there is a difference in flunking out and not being academically eligible. Anyone using the term flunked out should be ignore. You cannot flunk out in one semester. You go on academic probation for at least a semester before you flunk out. I know because I was on academic probation a couple different times in my early college years because all I wanted to do was party. Also, to flunk out he would not have been eligible for the Sugar Bowl because he would have had to had terrible grades last semester as well.

TL,DR: there's a zero percent chance he flunked out.
