I think he feels like he can wreck Doug Jones like he wrecked the SEC back in 2004. Cigars for everybody if he wins !

5 page thread on the Bama board about it.

That board is HILARIOUS.

They’re melting hard because big brudda not only controls sports, but also politics!

I love Tubs, but I'd obviously like to know where he falls on the issues. But I don't live in AL, so it really doesn't matter anyway

He always seemed really good at lying and manipulating people so I think he has a good chance to be a great politician

He should be a good listener to his constituents.

Maybe his campaign slogan could be "Blowing the Admiral".

Don't care, unless he takes a spot from a democrat.

I haven't lived in Alabama in over 10 years. I would move back and vote for Tubs, if it meant he would beat out Roy Moore.

Better than re-electing Doug Jones.

I would vote for a run-over beer can on the side of the road before I'd vote for Doug Jones.

No way Tube could be any worse than that corrput piece of shite Richard Shelby. So he has that going for him.

Citizen in Alabama are so stupid they will vote for anyone with an R next to the name. Hence why Jeff Sessions represented this state for two decades. And the uneducated trash will come out in full to support the game-show host, so Tubs will not have his hands tied.

It seems silly that the best we can do is an old football coach.

I would vote for him over Jones if I lived there though.
