Thats pretty damn sad.
quote:
"I have no intention and no desire to go anywhere else," Woodward said of the idea he'd leave for LSU should the Tigers have an opening at athletic director. "People forget that I've been gone (nearly) 15 years now. I love it here. I love the people, the university and the commitment to education. Until they don't want me, I want to be here."

That's some Tuberville level over-lieing to the media. Y'all are going to need that particular talent in the not so distant future.

Really is shocking that someone would deny interest in another job before taking it. Never seen this before in the history of college and/or professional sports.
Just shows you how powerful the draw to LSU really is.

Will aggy become LSU football fans this year?
OB: Do we need to become big Ed? Orgeron fans?
? Looch: I think Scott Woodward is walking into a clown show in Baton rouge. I think he's fully eyes wide open more so than anyone would be. Which? is even more just blows your mind that he left for that. He knows exactly what's he walking into and still left. He knows what he walki??ng into and it's a clown show. That's just frustrating. And I think Ed O. just from talking to people in the profession. he may?? have won 10 games last year, but god he has got zero on the respect meter from the college football world. And I thin??k even college footb?all fans and their media.

Things in College Station are a mess. No wonder he said LSU didn't have to convince him at all.

hmm. That's the same sort of thing some LSU fans trash St. Nick Saban for.

LSU fans seem like the weirdly melty ones to me. Post after post about the same stuff. You guys are defending Will Wade like he has made a final 4. I don't care one way or the other I just poke fun and your buttholes tighten. Almost as weird as all the OM fans defending freeze after "escort" gate.

He probably meant it at the time. Aggy seems to be pointing at their chancellor as the reason Woodward bolted with the quickness. They have tons of money flowing in but they have a culture problem that won’t be shaken any time soon. As they say, they are who they are.
