We'll be looking for a football coach, a basketball coach and a new athletic director.

Nah, football maybe but in 3 years we will be sitting in the sweet 16. Musselman is a hell of a hire.

Must be tough to get boners on your "favorite team" failing

You're all blindly optimistic. Rightly so, you wanna see your team win. I just don't believe in HY. At all.

How much do you believe in the BOT, you seem to think they have no power in any of this

Don't know about Hunter, but know I was NEVER sucked in by Jeff Long. While most everyone was sucking Long off, while he was just making self-serving decisions, I was trying to remind everyone that in the long view he did not at UA best interest in mind.
Not as for HY, don't know. But I do know that Mus has a fire that Anderson did not. Having a fire is one thing, plenty of coaches have that, but it has to be harnessed and directed which Mus seems to do very well. That quality that can drive a coach to change their approach, attitude, and always adjust. Which coach have we had that fit that? Anderson, no fire, and no adjustment. Nutt, the same unless his arse was on the line. Pel, seemed to have some fire, but sucked at everything else. Heath, NOPE! The fat one, hahaha, don't make me laugh. Smiley collect the check? Chad remains to be seen. I would say the only one in a very long time was Petrino, and we know how that turned out.
But dismiss away. Mus may fail, but he he wins, and especially wins big, I bet you will conveniently forget you ever melted.

Even if it's optimism, why root for failure? Just quit being a razorback fan, if you hate everyone that runs the team.

I’ll never understand people that predict failure for a new hire or want a coach fired after 1 year. Blows my mind how people can be that miserable

I'm not rooting for it. I'm afraid it will happen.
I want success, I just don't see the people in place that can make it happen

Good post Bad. Musselman isn't a bad choice. Its not like he's a Heath or a Pelphrey level guy. At one time he was a hot name in the NBA and he's done really well at Nevada.
