And how much credit/blame are we putting on Hunter for the Morris hire. Wasn't the hire made one day after he arrived?

you mean the GOBN hasn't been producing satisfactory work for decades shocker. Basically when frank lost his mojo the AD at arkansas hasn't recovered.

I don't even know what it is. I've got em all turned off.

I'm just telling you guys this is bad.

I told you guys Bert was only gonna win 3 in 17, I was laughed at. I told you guys Chad wouldn't win more than 4, I was told I was just being a Debbie Downer and there was no way that would happen. I've got a good history of being right about bad decisions made on the hill. This feels the same way.

But hey, let's all sing koom by yah and hold hands. It'll be just fine.

You must be a rich man then. Tell me, how did you feel about Mike Anderson?

I thought the hire was great. Took 2 programs deep in the tourney, left a school with a good roster who was successful the first year after he left. After a few years realized that he didn't ever take into consideration players leaving and it was his downfall. He needed to be let go. BUT, his replacement should have been someone with more success or else it was all for nothing. EXACTLY like the Morris hire. Just fired somebody just to have somebody new who will do the same things.

So Mike didn’t turn out like you predicted? So you were wrong. Just making sure, thanks for clarifying. Good luck with your hope for failure.

Good point. Seems he sucks at coaching hiring as well. Guess that means decisions are suspect on Mus as well.

Fair point I guess. Hopefully you're all calling me out on this in 3 years.

Just try to give optimism a try, it doesn’t make you a homer or sunshine pumper. He might bomb but he deserves our support until he doesn’t based on results.

Finding a good coach isn't easy. You could shun every hire and be right more than not.

But unless you actually give BASKETBALL REASONS, not just claims of other anecdotal naysaying, you sound like a miserable shitbag projecting on to the coaching hire.

I'm guessing that HY had Musselman in mind all along as his #2 if Sampson said no.

It's obvious now that a board member held the entire fricking thing up by either commanding him to chase Marshall or going for some pipe dream in Beard.
