Toured your campus with my son today on a college tour. Very impressed with your school. The campus is looking beautiful and we felt very welcome. We were paired with an engineering student who was our host. Nice kid, very well-spoken, sharp. Could not have been more impressed with your university and the engineering school. Well done, Bullies. Even left with some Mapes cheese and ice cream!

From family of MSU Engineers, Thank You for the kind words.

Good Luck to your son and may his paths cross with a good time in Starkville again, whether he attends school there or not.

Valegret is my favorite. Engineering program is very underrated. Everyone i know that went through the program didn't have much trouble getting a job well before they walked and this was during the financial crisis. Hopefully it was a windy day for him. Windy days were always my favorite when i was on campus.

This is why I always laugh at people who talk smack to MSU about Starkville sucking and that our campus is trash. They have never been here OR at least not in a while. We do have a beautiful campus and those who come on here and talk trash have never left their own house. They just follow what someone else says and pretend to be an authority on SEC campuses.

Nobody in SEC gives a shite about Starksville... Oxford constantly has magazines publishers talking about how much they love it...you should take yours on to Ole miss

Someone give Ole Miss some attention. They're mad about being irrelevant and have to scream at threads about MSU to get some.

Your quad area is really fantastic. I assume that is what they call it. The area in front of all the engineering buildings. Very nice. The campus had a good energy about it.

He is that guy....

I like to give State fans shite, but really it's a good state school. Lot of friends went there and always had a good time visiting. Vecchio will buy your son his first cowbell if he chooses to attend.

Thank you for your kind words, we are very proud of our Alma Mater. We would be very proud if your son decided to continue his education at MSU! Wherever your son decides to go, I wish him much success!

It’s amazing how people’s perception of our school changes once they visit campus, don’t listen to all the people on here who have never been.

MSU has a nice campus. People knock Starkville but if you know where to go it's a fun little town.

We have been touring all week on our spring break to various schools with engineering programs and MSU is by far his favorite so far. The whole process was really well done. He really connected with our tour guide who was generous with his time and very welcoming. My son said, "I could see myself here". I think we're going to come back for a game in the fall. I've been to a game there years ago but he has not.
