Will they become an every year contender and build the program with this momentum building tournament run or will they revert back to being an average team like South Carolina did after their historic Final Four run?

Yes

Bruce already has a strong class lined up next year and has done this before.

Auburn has the 11th ranked recruiting class right now

Ours was 64

I also wouldn't care this at ALL to our run.

We were a Cinderella run.
This Auburn team won the conference and is a much better team than our 2017 team.

Bruce had Tennessee rolling 10 years ago. He's doing the same thing at Auburn, it just took a little longer to build that foundation.

All I know is both have been to a Final Four more recently than Kentucky.

I think as long as Auburn can hang on to Pearl, AU is likely an every-year NCAA Tournament team.... which is huge for a program like Auburn.

It will probably take some magic to get back to the Final 4 again, but its possible. I think they'll be a typical 4-9 seed most every year for the foreseeable future.

Meh.

Pearl is one hell of a coach. Don't see them taking too many steps back.

Down year here and there, sure. Even we have those.

I mean, we won the SEC last year just last year. Not like this season came out of nowhere. No, we aren't going to be final 4 contenders year in, year out. Not many are.

I am just enjoying the moment.

I hope so, but if not, at least we had this year.

Bruce can recruit. Frank can't. Frank is one of the absolute best at getting results out of below-average talent, but as people have said before "players win games". I think Auburn can continue their run.

Auburn fans will turn on Pearl with a quickness when he leaves. Popcorn stocked up and ready to go. Barners better get Gus to fork up some dough if you guys want to really be a basketball school. All hands on deck.

Will the football program even be around 5 years from now? Maybe just go down to D2 like Nova does?
