Nobody in any sport is worth more than Saban. That's an insane salary for Cal.

Nah. Winning a national title in a single-elimination tournament is tough. He’s been to the Sweet 16 8 out of 10 years at Kentucky. No other coach has been that consistent in the last decade.

It's pretty crazy he makes $1M more a year than Saban in a sport where coaching salaries are less across the board.
If I was Saban I'd probably need a clause in my contract saying nobody in college sports makes more than me, and call it the Coach Cal clause.

There are so many more competitive hoops teams than there are major, competitive football teams.
If UK wants the best, they almost have to open up the checkbook.
